Biggest party ever, this time with pictures

Your Steamboat Springs ranch wedding is going to be a big party. In our last post, we barked about how you could use our gigantic pavilion to hold your biggest party ever. Now we are backing up our boast with pictures from Jessica and Sam’s party. These great shots were taken by Seedhouse Photography.

Jessica and Sam weren’t initially planning to party inside the pavilion. Jessica initially asked to set up our dance floor just outside, so guests could dance outdoors and enjoy the great views. But the weather forecast didn’t look good – rain was expected all night long. So we invoked Plan B: set up the dance floor just inside our huge doors. The floor and guests stay dry, but they still get the enjoy the view.

Not raining yet (but it is on the way)

La Joya Dulce is a ranch in Steamboat Springs, so of course we have horses. When we aren't hosting ranch weddings, we use the pavilion for riding. That means the floor is sand. Does a sand floor hinder the party? Not a bit. We pack the sand smooth and firm. No problem for the long Conga line. No problem for high heels.

Boots are always welcome at La Joya Dulce (but so are high heels)

Firm sand supports an enthusiastic conga line

Conga line + high heels + hard packed sand = no problem!

We love how Hillary and Kel of Seedhouse Photography captured the hundreds of market lights strung in the pavilion.

Use of the pavilion (including the market lights) is included with all of our packages, and our upgraded packages include the dance floor.

Regardless of the weather, our pavilion is a great space for a party. But even if you want an outdoor party, you need Plan B -- it can rain any time of the year in Steamboat Springs. At La Joya Dulce, there is no need to rent a tent in case the weather doesn't cooperate. Put it another way – Plan B is always included at La Joya Dulce.
