At La Joya Dulce, we believe in creating a wedding celebration that is spacious, stress-free, and simply perfect. We believe as Warren Buffet does that it isn’t the price you pay, but the value you receive. With our versatile experiences, you have the option to book the ranch for one day or for a whole wedding weekend – there’s no rushing, no other events happening on the property, no looking back wishing you had more time to be with your loved ones. Please note while we want you to be relaxed and present on your day, there are no on-site accommodations at the ranch.

This experience is our most in demand as it includes the vast majority of our most popular items as well as the labor involved. The Silver Saddle package includes:
Three full days of ranch enjoyment! We promise – you are the only event on the property during those three days.
Choice of ceremony sites - The Elk River Valley Ceremony Site or Pond Ceremony Site or anywhere else you might select!
Extended hours - Party under the stars - we have the latest shut off in Steamboat. For the day of your event, receptions may last until midnight. You also have plenty of time for set up the day before and after.
Choice of reception venues – our barn holds a maximum of 175. We recommend up to 125 seated in the main area. Our event pavilion is a blank canvas and easily accommodates up to 400 guests. The barn has Edison lighting, while the event pavilion has beautiful market lighting throughout highlighted with massive iron chandeliers, hardwood floors and full draping. The event pavilion is considered “outdoors” and is larger than any tent you may find.. If you truly want outdoors? Depending on the weather, you may also choose to dine al fresco on our expansive ceremony lawn (labor charges apply)

Single Day Wedding Experience

The Jewel is ideal for smaller, more intimate weddings where you still want to be pampered. By cutting out the additional days and adding a bit more structured, albeit high end, set up, we have crafted a jewel of an experience - just right for your wedding. Maximum 60 people. $12,250. The Jewel includes:
Choice of Ceremony Sites - The Elk River Valley Overlook Ceremony Site or the Main House Lawns Ceremony Site. Should there be inclement weather, the pavilion will be available as a backup ceremony space. You will have one hour of rehearsal time prior.
Intimate Barn – you will be able to use our barn and a standard set up of a maximum of eight farmhouse tables. Other layouts are available at additional labor costs. Cocktail hour is on the patio outside along with our patio heaters and pergola. The hours for your event are from 10 am to 10 pm, with an additional two hours (until midnight) allotted for cleanup only. All items must be brought on property the day of the event and must leave the day of the event. Rental delivery and pick-up will be coordinated with the venue. The barn has Edison lighting which is standard.

“La Joya Dulce seriously has the best ceremony site I have ever been to.
It’s large, with plenty of space to move around on. It has good flow for the processional. The aisle is wide and the site is facing the perfect direction. Plus, the door opening for the bride, or the car entry is a special touch. Didn’t realize it until I started editing the most recent video and remembered how much better the ceremony videos look at LJD. Nobody else has what you have.
LJD is the only venue with actual infrastructure and people have the space to be able to do things. It’s so much larger than a tent. The HUGE benefit of LJD is space and accommodation. You don’t get that at the other venues. LJD has the perfect set up for the wedding parties to get ready at. Tons of natural light and with the separation between the spaces? It’s great for both parties.
No other venue I have worked at has worked as hard as LJD to increase the pros and eliminate the cons. Not putting other venues down - they are great, but just passing along how much I love LJD and why I think it makes it really good for couples AND vendors. You just treat everyone like royalty.”

La Joya Dulce offers beautiful views of the Elk River Valley just nine miles from Steamboat Springs, and only 30 minutes from our regional airport with daily jet service.

La Joya Dulce only hosts one event per week, and we only host a limited number of events per year. This means we can book a year to two years in advance. We sometimes have last-minute dates available. Please inquire here to find out what dates we have currently.

While cars are allowed to stay overnight, we do not have guest accommodations on site. We are ten miles from the center of Steamboat Springs. Steamboat Springs has over 20,000 beds available in all price points.

Depending on your package, we include different types of chairs and tables. We have multiple bars available for use along with patio heaters, benches, indoor toilets, and a luxury guest toilet trailer. We also have an extensive inventory of décor that we call “Share the Love” as our prior couples have left it behind. While this changes regularly, we have had couples who have used only that for their décor and couples who have brought in all their décor.

Did you know that most venues with preferred vendor lists charge vendors to be on the list? We don’t believe in that. We do have an extensive list of over 300 “Vendors we Love,” who have successfully teamed with us to create amazing events. For our couples under contract, we create a client portal and then carefully curate vendor recommendations tailored to your vision and wedding spending plan. That said? If you want to bring in professional, insured vendors who are not part of our “Vendors we Love,” just ask us – it’s how our Love List grows!
