Long Promised, Now Here
We’ve been babbling about La Joya Dulce’s custom luxury toilet trailer for months. It is finally here, and worth the wait.
Let us say it clearly: These are NOT outhouses! The trailer is beautifully finished, and fully equipped — hot and cold running water, air conditioning for warm days, heating for cold days, and yes, they flush.
For our custom trailer, we specified five stalls for the ladies, and three for the men. Here are shots of the men’s side. One sit down stall with full-length door, and two stand ups.

Both the men’s and women’s sides have nice vessel sinks.
The trailer was towed from Buffalo, New York to La Joya Dulce, and to prevent breakage during the trip, the manufacturer did not install glass globes for the light fixtures (see the shot above). We will install them, so the trailer will be fancier yet when our guests use it.
Our guests in need of ADA facilities will have luxury too -- the use of two ADA-compliant bathrooms inside our barn.
La Joya Dulce is a real working ranch (although a small one), and we hope some authenticity is part of the fun. But we don’t think our guests want “authentic ranch” toilet facilities. We commissioned our luxury toilet trailer because we don’t want any bride (or any mother-in-law!) to worry about whether a Steamboat Springs ranch wedding means the “facilities” will be rustic.
