Easy Access

It is easy to get to La Joya Dulce – we are only 9 miles from Steamboat Springs, making us Steamboat’s closest ranch wedding venue.  And we are only 30 minutes from Steamboat’s regional airport with daily commercial jet service -- Yampa Valley Regional Airport.  You don’t have to drive from Denver for a Steamboat Springs ranch wedding!

Daisy is fun for short trips (but she's not driving to Denver!)

Kathie and Wayne are back and forth between southern California and Steamboat a few times a year, and we almost always fly.  For us, the most convenient trip is normally from our local airport in Orange County, California to Denver, where we hop on a regional jet for the very short flight to Yampa Valley Regional Airport.  A half-hour after we get our bags we are rolling up the driveway at La Joya Dulce.

Driveway is 30 minutes from the airport

Except for ski season, Yampa Valley Regional Airport has daily flights from Denver. Both of those cities are huge hubs for United, so almost anyone can get to Steamboat by air with only one plane change.  Southwest now also services the airport year round, so there are up to four daily flights outside of ski season.

The airport code is HDN, because the airport is just outside the nearby town of Hayden.  But airline flight schedules and arrival/departure boards often list the airport as Steamboat.

Part of the short drive from the airport to La Joya Dulce

During ski season, access by air is even better – there are direct flight from many major airports, including Newark, Los Angeles, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and more.  Winter is a great time for a wedding at La Joya Dulce. We are Steamboat’s only barn wedding venue, so we can handle any weather.  The short drive (from Steamboat Springs or the airport) is fully paved, including our driveway.

Fully paved, all season access to La Joya Dulce
