Crafting Your Dream Colorado Mountain Wedding: A Guide Based on Your Myers-Briggs Personality Type
Your wedding day is one of the most significant milestones in your life, and it's only natural to want it to reflect who you are as a person. Your Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) personality type can provide valuable insights into your preferences, strengths, and how you interact with the world around you. So why not leverage this understanding to plan a wedding that truly resonates with who you are?
What are all those letters?
The letters in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) stand for:
E or I: Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I)
S or N: Sensing (S) or Intuition (N)
T or F: Thinking (T) or Feeling (F)
J or P: Judging (J) or Perceiving (P)
These letters represent four preference pairs that describe different aspects of personality:
Extraversion (E) or Introversion (I): How you focus your attention
Sensing (S) or Intuition (N): How you take in information
Thinking (T) or Feeling (F): How you make decisions
Judging (J) or Perceiving (P): How you deal with the world
Kathie used to be Myers-Briggs certified, so thought it would be so much fun to give you a bit about your planning style and approach to your wedding. Want to find out what your personality type is? Take an online test right here for fun! Then with your results? Come right back and see what your planning (and venue style) might be.

It is important to us at La Joya Dulce to offer our “I”s intentional moments where they can recharge with their partner. For this couple? It was private vows in the aspen glen, where the focus was on the two of them. And, in the second, photo credit: Caitlin Steuben, our very organized bride planned everything down to the smallest detail to provide their group with a modern, Western celebration. Just take a look at the favors table! From bags for the favors to oxygen for those from lower elevations to local products such as jars of honey - our bride thought of everything!
