We Did It!

On October 6th, the Routt County Planning Commission approved our permit application! We are excited to announce that La Joya Dulce is Steamboat Springs's newest wedding and special event site. We still have "tees" to cross and "eyes" to dot, but we fully expect to be up and running in 2017.

Our first task was to seed the first ceremony site. We have over 3600 square feet on a promontory in front of our arena. We got out the drag, flattened it, took I don't know how many rocks out of there, and then seeded the entire area. This means that come May, we will have a lush lawn for our wedding ceremonies. On our next trip, Wayne will be building our own wedding arch from aspen on our property.

Our ranch is being built with our own labor and love - we hope you will want to share that with us on your special day.
Please browse our website -- all but a few of the photos were taken right here at the ranch. (It easy to find the exceptions: there are no ocean views from La Joya Dulce!)
