“The perfect amount of class and rustic”

A big thank you to videographer Whitney Milton for her very kind recent blog post. Whitney created a beautiful film of Shelby and Michael’s La Joya Dulce wedding this summer. Click here for Whitney’s blog post, which includes the terrific video.

Here is some of what Whitney had to say:

“Michael and Shelby were married at the new and beautiful venue of La Joya Dulce in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. If you are looking for a Colorado ranch wedding then I highly recommend this beautiful venue in Steamboat Springs. It was gorgeous with mountain views. It had the perfect amount of class and rustic mix.”

More kind comments from Whitney:

“Another thing I loved about La Joya Dulce venue was they allowed brides and grooms to ride their horses! The owners are truly cowboys/cowgirls and really have a gorgeous property. They have beautiful horses, gorgeous sunsets and outstanding views. One of my favorite parts of their venue was their huge sliding barn doors. This provided an incredible entrance for the couple. Check out my video to see how spectacular this is.”

There is a lot of excellent, professional video work on Whitney’s web site. Whitney explains her process: “When I meet with my couples, we go further in depth in what kind of film they are looking for. Some want traditional romantic. Other’s adventurous and artistic. Michael and Shelby wanted ‘out of the box’ and I think I met their desires with this fun film!”

We agree -- the film is fun and energetic, just like Shelby and Michael.

Nina Larsen shot the stills for Shelby and Michael, and we used a few of those fabulous shots in this post. Click here for Nina's website.

We are proud of the level of service La Joya Dulce provides to our couples. Whitney noticed: “While La Joya Dulce is a fairly new venue, do not let this stop you from booking there! Everything ran extremely smooth. I have been shooting weddings for quite a while and this place felt like it had been in business for years.”

Thanks again, Whitney, and we hope to see you back at La Joya Dulce soon!
